Thank you for your interest in Police Judo! The information below outlines the Police Judo Club locations, contacts and practice times. Please note that all prospective students in any Police Judo Program will be required to obtain a valid Law Enforcement Judo Association (LEJA) Membership (http://policejudo.ca/leja-membership-form/).
For youth registering in the Police Judo Juniors, an association membership for either Judo BC or the LEJA (http://policejudo.ca/leja-membership-form/) is required. Youth interested in participating in Judo BC events will need to join Judo BC (http://www.judobc.ca/club-and-membership-resources/).
Simon Fraser University Police Judo
The SFU Police Judo Club trains Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm in the SFU Burnaby Campus Central Gym.
The SFU Police Judo Juniors Club trains Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1830 and 1930 hours in the SFU Burnaby Campus Central Gym. The Junior program is for youth ages 6-13.
The Vancouver Police Department Police Judo
The VPD Police Judo Club trains Monday and Wednesday between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the Tactical Training Center (TTC), 2010 Glen Dr. in Vancouver. The TTC is a secure facility. For non-VPD employees, a reference from a VPD member, as well as a criminal record check and security clearance are required to train here. All paid employees of the VPD are able to practice at VPD Police Judo free of charge.
Police Judo Team Practices - TTC – Fridays Night
LEJA members in good standing, registered as a student at any one of the Police Judo Clubs, and having a completed criminal record clearance are welcome to train at the TTC for the Police Judo Team Practice every Friday night from 1930 – 2130.

The Justice Institute of BC Police Judo Club:
The Justice Institute Police Judo Club trains Monday and Wednesday nights between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the JIBC gym at 715 McBride Blvd. Law Enforcement Studies Diploma Students and Sworn Police Officers are able to train here at a discounted rate.

The Kamloops Police Judo Club:
The Kamloops Police Judo Club trains every Wednesday night between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm and is located at 1465 Pearson Place – in the Aberdeen Judo Academy.

Individuals are welcome to try a practice at no charge, after signing a program waiver.
All four clubs operate under the umbrella of the Law Enforcement Judo Association (LEJA) but have fee schedules that are arranged by their respective program.
All Police Judo members are required to pay a once a year $50 Law Enforcement Judo Association fee.
Friday night Police Judo Team practices at the TTC are open to LEJA members provided they belong to a Police Judo Club, and have a criminal record clearance.
If you have a training gi or martial arts uniform, feel free to wear it. If you do not have a judo gi, sweats and a long-sleeved T shirt or hoodie will suffice for the first few classes. A judo gi will be required if you are continuing to train.
